Mission: Hughes is a community that embodies a culture of respect, empathy, kindness, partnership, and equity where students are empowered to soar academically, artistically, and athletically in order to be high school, college and career ready.
Vision: Our Owls are curious learners that embody self-efficacy, critical thinking, emotional intelligence, and value the assets of those in their community.

The Office of Equity, Engagement and Partnerships aids in establishing a safe and supportive learning environment for all students and families in LBUSD.

The annual concert offers students an opportunity to perform in band and string orchestras composed of exceptionally talented students from across the District.

The annual exhibit brings together the best middle and high school art pieces and presents awards to the top three middle and high school participants.
